My family and I visited Addo Afrique during my holiday to SA in December. We had an absolutely wonderful time and wish we didn't have to leave! The minute we arrived, we received a warm welcome from the staff and felt relaxed immediately. The lodge is beautiful, the rooms are spacious and everything is of the highest standards and quality. The views from the lodge are stunning. We saw ostriches and giraffes at peace in their habitat and with visitors. I would definitely recommend Addo Afrique to everyone; it will exceed your expectations!

Addo Afrique is truley a unique find. Stunning accommodation with the added bonus of viewing over the Addo Elephant Park besides the animals on the resort. Exceeded our expectations, a fantastic place.Our stay was enhanced by the dedication of Gladys and Themba. Themba was especially helpful in responding to our frequent requests, changes of itinerary and guiding us where ever we wanted to go. Our stay was too short!! Next time we will get it right!

I would just like to thank all associated with Addo Afrique for making my family holiday as it says in the header, "A holiday of a life time".
We loved our stay at the elephant lodge and i can honestly say, the panoramic views from the balcony were truly breath taking.
There was something new to try every day and allwere just a short drive away.
We loved every minute of our time at Addo so much so we are returning in Jan 2010 and staying for 4 weeks.

Stayed in the lodge for 5 days with friends in September. Location and accommodation second to none. Special thanks to Mr. Van Deventer who managed to get new flights for our party after we missed internal flight from Port Elizabeth to johannesburg. This was just typical of the service that all of the staff provided to make the stay that bit more special. Certainly made us feel like family and not just guests - Even though the visit was brief. Will certainly return.

We had such a wonderful stay at the Giraffe House at Addo Afrique. It was so relaxing and peaceful. Great for stargazing! We visited the Addo Elephant Park which is very close by and were lucky to see a lioness and lion one evening as well as many elephants of course! The staff at Addo Afrique were very attentive. We found the Ledmore restaurant not too far from Addo Afrique on the main road towards Addo and would recommend it. This was a perfect few days.

We had a fantastic time at the elephant lodge. Wonderful ambiance, fantastic furnishings inside and out and a beautiful view over the Addo to watch the wildlife. Wonderful waking up to the sound of monkeys on the roof or watching giraffes having breakfast as we did! A stones throw from Addo and accessible from Cape Town for a weekend. Braii on the veranda overlooking the Addo whilst the kids play in the plunge pool. Themba and Gladys are wonderful.

We had such a wonderful time at Addo Afrique and highly recommend a stay there. The service was exceptional, and the beautiful lodge had all that you could ask for. The staff were delightful and kind to us , nothing was too much trouble giving us a truly African experience which we will never forget.
