I would like to thank you for giving us this opportunity to experience true five star quality in an absolutely breathtaking environment. Your lodges are beautiful and have a certain home quality that made us even more relaxed and comfortable. But behind all these luxuries, its your team of dedicated workers who truly make it special. They went out of their way to make sure that we were happy, not once complaining about anything. Clifford was always friendly, Gladys was always doing everything with a smile and Themba is absolutely your most valuable asset. He really made us feel welcome and like royalty, we could see that he absolutely loves his job and there was never anything he couldn't do. He did so much for us.
The fact that you phoned and cared also made us feel more welcome, Thank you so much for all of your trouble to make our stay extra special, You will definitely see us in the future and probably a lot of my friends and family too. Addo Afrique is defiantly worth every cent and is the most amazing place I have ever been to by far.
This week was the best holiday I could ask for, we are all relaxed and ready for a year of studying. We hope to see you again this year, there is no other place we want to go. You have an amazing place there's no doubt you deserve 5 stars. Addo Afrique is an absolute treasure!

My very first comment to you is that Addo Afrique fully deserves the 5 star status. You deserve this accolade and more.
Our entire family is unanimous in making the statement that both Temba and Gladys must surely qualify for at least 10 stars. They were both outstanding and are a valuable asset to the Lodge. Nothing was too much for them and their collective cooking skills were exceptional. Gladys breakfasts were to die for and as for the braai and potjie skills of Temba these could not be faulted. They both conveyed a willingness to want to do the cooking and to help us where ever they could to make our visit so much more enjoyable.
We found our walks through the farm each day extremely therapeutic. As the saying goes, “just what the doctor ordered. We did manage to get a fleeting view of two of the giraffes, but they were extremely scared, no doubt due to the fact that they had just arrived.

From a personal point of view, I could not have found a better place than Addo Afrique to celebrate my 60th birthday with my family. Thank you for making it such a special week-end.

Here are some photo's of our weekend at Addo Afrique. It was the most joyful experience. I would recommend the breakaway for any couple that wants to get a real Africa bush veldt welcome. The services were excellent and the rooms are something to dream about. If you love the bush veldt and wild animals this is the place to go.
The experience at Addo Afrique was absolutely amazing! Right from the start we were treated like royalty. Being picked up at the airport and whisked away to the lodge was a new experience for us. And to top it all, arriving at the lodge with the fires already burning, seeing the most exquisite African show, and having a mouth watering dinner, who could ask for more?
The rest of the weekend was just as fantastic, not to mention the great
company! The scenery was beautiful and a welcome break from the hustle and bustle of the city life. We must also commend you on the good service we received from your staff working at the lodge. Your butler and cook was
extremely professional and really looked after us. (Wish we had them at
home!!!!)

Thank you for such a marvelous weekend - one we would never forget!

We had a fantastic time at the elephant lodge. Wonderful ambiance, fantastic furnishings inside and out and a beautiful view over the Addo to watch the wildlife. Wonderful waking up to the sound of monkeys on the roof or watching giraffes having breakfast as we did! A stones throw from Addo and accessible from Cape Town for a weekend. Themba and Gladys are wonderful.

Indien jy wil wegkom vir 'n rustage,ontspanne naweek is Addo Affrique die plek.Daar was die mooiste uitkykpunte, wilde diere wat net meters van jou gesien kon word. Die vriendelikste diens en die lekkerste kos voorberei deur die kok.As jy by die hek inkom sien jy al die hutte bo op die koppie. Die blyplek was asemrowend, alles net die netjieste, afrika atmosfeer.Die hek van die Addo-park was net om die draai waar daar baie diere gesien kon word, koedoes, olifante, rooibokke, vlakvarke buffels ens. Addo Affrique is naby als gelee so ons kon in 'n japtrap 'n draai by Portelizabeth gaan maak. Dit is defenitief die mooite werd om 'n plekkie soos die in die bos te hê.
